Learn how to design a tabletop game, from initial concept to playtesting.
In this session you will create a game to find the balance between ease of gameplay learning and fun. We aim to answer the question: How do we challenge a player in an enjoyable way without making the initial learning curve too steep?
Once your game is finished, we will run playtests in a live user environment to assess how to measure a player’s enjoyment: How do we best use feedback, and decide whether faults reported should be attributed to the player or the designer?
