Prototyping with kids

In this session you will learn hands-on techniques to teach pupils how to paper prototype in order to introduce UX Design to children as young as five. There will be two hands-on activities:

• How to paper prototype for mobile devices in an engaging way for children (something that can easily transferred to the day-to-day job).
• How to facilitate user research with the paper prototype they build during the session.

This session also comes with a huge amount of inspiration to get UX Designers volunteering for educational IT programmes where the emphasis is put on programming but not much is being said about designing.

I’m currently responsible for the vision of UX at JUST EAT, as well as ensuring a cohesive experience across all digital consumer touch points. One of the most humbling thoughts I’ve encountered, it’s knowing that we will touch millions of lives with the experiences we design.
